The Shore Trust Team
We have a wonderful, stable team of dedicated staff who support the people to have good lives. The Staff Team are supported by the Trust Board to further their skills and knowledge by studying towards national qualifications related to working in the field of disability. All people are assigned a "staff key person" of their choice who shares common interests. These key staff become very important in the people's lives who support them to be able to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Manager: Fiona
Manager for Shore Trust since January 2010. Originally from the UK, I now reside with my family on the North Shore in Auckland.
I have a strong passion for supporting people to access and take part in meaningful activities in the community and developing their skills to be able to participate in. I am privileged to work for Shore Trust and leading our small team of dedicated support workers to be able to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.

Team Leader: Marliya
Marliya graduated with Care Management in Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Health from the University of Winchester in 2006 and came to New Zealand in 2007 as a skilled migrant. Marliya worked for Shore Trust before she moved to the South Island and it’s great that she has come back to us!
Marliya's philosophy is by supporting people to integrate into the community they are able to live a greater life. Her belief compliments Shore Trust’s nicely by respecting people’s choices and rights, promoting their independence and supporting them to be able to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

I am an outgoing person so enjoy taking the people I support out into their community to meet people and to their many different activities they are involved in. I have recently gained the National Certificate in Community Support Services (Level 2) and really hope to continue with my studies as it helps me to better understand the people I support and how to help them the best I can.
