Fiona Bosworth - Manager
My name is Fiona and I have been manager for Shore Trust since January 2010. Originally from the UK, I now reside with my family on the North Shore in Auckland.
My previous background has been working in disability within the UK, which includes training Guide Dogs for the Blind, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and then working with young adults who had intellectual disabilities. I later studied in business administration qualifications and gained the International Institute in Business Administrative Diploma. I used these skills to become a tutor in Information Technology at Peterborough Regional College before immigrating to New Zealand. Since moving here in 2003, I have held various management roles mainly in the not for profit sector.
I have a strong passion for supporting people to access and take part in meaningful activities in the community and developing their skills to be able to participate in. I am privileged to work for Shore Trust and leading our small team of dedicated support workers to be able to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
