How can you help?
Although Shore Trust receives funding from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Development, most of this is paid directly out in salaries, leaving the remainder for operational costs. Any additional capital expenditure or projects needs to be fund raised. All our expenditure is transparent and the accounts are audited by an independent auditor to meet our legal and contractual obligations.
You can assist us by donating time to become friends with the people we support or helping them in the garden or with their activities. If this interests you, please email us.
- We endeavor to take the people on an annual holiday once a year, so they can experience new areas of NZ – if you have access to a large home in N.Z. or know of someone who does we would love to hear from you.
- New flooring is needed for the kitchen and dining area of the house - any $$ or materials towards this would be a big help.
